I am taking a short break from making and exhibiting as our baby is due in two weeks. But I will be back to making work once we have figured out what to do with a baby!
My latest woodcut titled; "But has he nine as beautiful tails as the late Mr Fox?" "Oh no," said the cat, "he has only one." is being exhibited at Rye Rye Creative Centre in East Sussex until 15th July.
Taking a small break from screen printing to work on a new woodcut, gives me a chance to break in the new dabber I bought in for the workshop.
My exhibition at Exeter Phoenix is up! The curator did a fantastic job, the work looks great, relieved it's all up, I discovered that preparing a show whilst pregnant is not easy.
The postcards for my show at Exeter Phoenix have arrived, very happy with the quality, plus I've opened my Easter egg early, yummy!
It's official, the paperwork came through yesterday about my exhibition at Exeter Phoenix next April. I have new work planned for it which will combine screen printing with drawing and painting, can't wait to make it.
There will be audio at the show of me discussing the work being exhibited, all work is also for sale, do pop in!
Some lovely examples of etching, collagraph and relief by artists from all over the world arrived today, and my prints are winging their way to ten other contributors. You can see information about the project via the link below.
